In 1994 the Greater Lake Sylvia Association decided to produce a brief history of the lake and its surrounding area, and to record the memories of past and present inhabitants. Association members began to contact long-time residents on the lake to collect and copy family histories, early memories and photographs. Many people submitted written stories and photographs for this enterprise. This printing is from 2022.
