2024 BOAT PARADE UPDATE!! The 2024 Lake Sylvia Boat Parade, sponsored by GLSA, was a wonderful success. 22 amazingly decorated boats checked in on Saturday morning on the West Lake near Flannery Bay. The parades went around each lake with some boats covering both lakes. Unfortunately we could not get into all the bays with the 300 foot no-wake zone in effect. Several docks were filled with festive spectators. Special thanks to Jenny Pixley for initiating and organizing the fun lake bags and awards Vicki Hoien helping out with publicity and boat traffic flow. Special thanks to Anchor Dock who led the parade and donated the Aqua Lily Pad. |

★ 1st Place "Eagle and America!" won the Aqua Lilly Pad donated by Anchor Dock★ 2nd Place "Dunkin Dingy Duo" won the ski tube donated by A1 Marine
★ 3rd Place "Sylvia Olympians " won the Little Jim's cooler packed with fishing gear
★ 4th Place "East Lake Dancers" won the Miller's Jewelry Lake Sylvia pendant and a $50 gift certificate from Scheels, a $10 Sweet Escape coupon
★ Honorable Mention "Wild West Sylvia" for their chuck wagon pontoon full of cowboys and cowgirls! They won a gift certificate to Sweet Escape for ice cream!
